new personal best with a 5-speed blowing through the clutch

first pass out on a new top end and fresh 9in slicks annihilating the clutch as soon as i slammed second along with third, felt like a big stall converter seemed like i lost a lot of steam when it let loose

60ft 1.44
330 4.087
1/8th 6.267
mph 114.89

347ci, pt76, tko600, ram powergrip hd, chipped a9l computer, pump gas 14psi, 720whp blowing through the clutch

i thought the tires were spinning on the dyno apprently not. If a clutch slips on the dyno do the numbers read higher or lower ? anyways it was one hell of a clutch would rec. it to anyone with 650whp and below good for 15k miles of hell.

what would you guys rec for a new clutch is my only option a twin disk at this point ? id really like to see 5.99 in the 1/8th with the 5-speed so id like to have some room to grow.

You need to take it to the 1/4, I'd love to see what you'd run
My Spec 3+ is borderline with similar power, only slipped on the launch and was fine downtrack to 149mph, best I ran in the 1/8 was 113 and change.
At this point I wouldn't waste time with anything other than a twin disk.
Let us know what you go with, love the stick/turbo combo.
Also, what shifter and shift rpm?

im gonna try the ram street twin i had great luck with there power grip hp so why not 2 of them back to back. on the dyno we spun it to 6600 when i went the 6.26 i shifted about 6400. shifter is a steeda triax

Theres another pass later that night i went a 6.30 getting in and out of it to keep the clutch "grabbing" i have a video of that on streetfire search "fast friday" and look for "BBC Chevelle vs 383 LT1 vs SBC Vega 69 Camaro vs 6" im the second to last car running the silver mustang. This pass i had the 6000 chip in and sat it on the limiter at 6000 made 14psi and dumped the clutch it did a 1.41 60ft but the clutch checked out big time in 2nd and 3rd, looks real sketchy it went 112mph this pass.

if the car doesent go in the 5's on pump gas it sure will on good gas and more boost

how long does it take to build up 14# when you sit there on the rev limiter or a 2 step?
