If I had to guess it looks like he takes the plate off to bolt on the battery disconnect switch through the plate area for track duty.

Nice ride. I read your build thread on another board.

I'm sure your car has quite a bit more in it.

Got an 8-second cage? Parachute?

Thanks dude, 3.50, 28" MT 325/50. Its a hydraulic roller, 6000rpm 427" stroker, made 520/520 break-in on engine dyno with a small carb and seems to like the boost

And a couple more pics from last month:

Cage is good to 8.50 and has swing-outs on both sides.

Thats a fast car congrats.
Is that better:

Problem is that I've moved to PA and need to bring the car here and get plates/inspection. That is in the works and if I decide to do True Street in Columbus I will be bringing it here to get them next week.
I want to improve a few streetable features but the way it sits I cruised 80 miles roundtrip and then the next day 30 miles to the track and back.
Not too good on gas though

Beautiful car, man!! Down right sexy with that stance.... I'm in the process of getting my Fox on the road (358W with a T70), but trying to work out all the little bugs to make it road worthy... I can't stand to hear rubbing issues, a nagging oil leak, etc. Still doing a little tuning as well (cold and warm start up).

Keep up the good work!!

Where is the build thread for this car, cuz it rocks!!

This is giving me hope, as I want to run a nine somthin with my stick.
Do you like your MMR trans?? what rpm do you pull the stick at??

What does that car weigh?? as 520/520 for power and 149mph seems a bit off??? or am I just crazy?

any info would be great
Chris

He noted that was "break-in" readings off an engine dyno with a small carb. Expect the numbers to be higher once hes past break in and actually running it hard. Also add that turbos build better boost with a load on the engine. I doubt an engine dyno is putting the same load on the motor as the car is.

We also don't know if he is running a carb now or if that was just for the dyno and he is running EFI in the car?

A lot of variables there and any calculations one can make would not be accurate off of engine dyno HP, needs a chassis dyno #. I'm making the numbers in my sig with a stick and a full interior car, and I'm only expecting mid-low 10's out of my car when I ever get it out to the track.
