B&G air filter problem

I have a B&G kit and I can not get the air filter they sent me on the car. I have seen pics on here with stubby cone filters. What is the brand/part number for it?

I hate those stubby too small airfilters on turbos

Sure way to kill power is to put a restriction on the inlet side of turbo
so that it has to work to suck air in.

K&N part# RU-2510 is what I have on my car.

Its NOT a B&G kit but it is a B&G "knockoff" made by treadstone. should fit as its very short

I have not installed my b&g kit yet but the filter he sent me with the kit is a cheap spectre. Brian told me I have to put the filter on the turbo before I install the turbo or you can get it on.

Good luck trying to navigate the filter and turbo with the oil drain line attached and hooking the DP up all with wet copper RTV at the same time.

When I mocked my kit up there was no room for that filter.

I hate it but better then nothing. For the street, it serves its purpose. For the track, you are better off with just a DIY screen or run nothing.

I got my filter on that came in the kit(spectre)...only after trimming the sheetmetal behind the headlight. Wasn't a big deal since the front bumper cover was off anyways for the intercooler install.
