I am planning to build a turbo stang soon. 5.0L motor, will be mostly stock at first, but plan to build it more as time passes. My question is should I go with a Cartech single turbo kit or an Incon twin turbo kit? Both are comparable pricewise, but does anyone have experience with either? The car will mostly be used as a driver, with racing from a 40mph punch. Primary victims would be ZO6's, vipers, exotics and turbo supras. Drag use will be limited, low 11's in mind. Tanny will be a tremec. Anyhow, I know the Incon kit is adjustable from 300 to about 750hp, but what about the cartech? The website isnt very helpful, and it seems from the literature that you would need to buy a new turbo to upgrade. Thanks for any info.

I have had both CarTech and Incon turbo kits. I can tell you with out a doubt that the Incon is far superior in every way to the CarTech. There is nothing wrong with CarTech but it just does not match the quality of the Incon. The only advantages to getting the CarTech are easier install, easier plug change and maybe wait time.

Here are a few good websites:
Incons unofficial website
My Website

That should give you a good start. You could also do a search on the web for turbocharged mustangs. It will bring up plenty of information for you to look through.
