will any blow off valve work?

Will any blow off valve be ok to use? anything from the turbo xs RFL to the tial?

I think there are different spring pressures to open and close the valve at different amounts of boost. I would think you'd want to match the valve to what psi you want it to open.

What I'm getting at is for a setup pushing around 500-600 a tial or turbo xs or HKS or etc will work just fine. correct? Yea you have to adjust the valve/spring persure depending on the psi you are running.

Personally I'd get a Tial, they seem to hold boost and work the best. But I'm sure you could get any of them to work fine.

I have a cheap ol ebay BOV and it "works". just glad I didnt spend/waste much on it as I want a tial

i have a stock blow off valve from a EVO a friend gave me and it works perfect and it was a great price FREE!

I recently switched to a Turbosmart BOV. It is pretty loud, but I am enjoying it.

1993 Silver Coupe
8.25:1, F-303 cam, TFS Track Heats, BBK SSI Intake, 42lb inj, Tremec 3550, 3,73's, Pypes Exhaust, 03 Cobra brakes.
Hellion "Heat" kit - 66mm T-Trim w/GTK housing. 8lbs for now. (435hp/460tq)

dont know what brand mine is. but it WAS cheap and it holds 14psi when i run that high.

96 mustang GT-93 teksid 4v forged: ported heads, kellogg crank, billet i-beams, CP forged pistons, 9.4:1, BIG turbo, 4x28x12 fmic, big boost.

2011 GT 300A, 3.73, M6, spoiler delete, brembos
