Turbo Timer Recommendations and Experience

Just wondering what you guys have to say about a turbo timer. Any recommendations and/or experience? What are good brands and what to steer clear of? Its for my 2.3t project. I assume that it hooks into your ignition hot wire and then will keep feeding power even though the car was shut off? Just wondering how they work.

They are not needed at all. I had an HKS one at one point in time, never did hook it up though.

Common sense is best turbo timer.

If just been driving normal just turn the car off.

If you've been pounding the hell out of it for 1-2 hours
dont just pull in and shut it down. Let car run for 2-3 mins to
let the turbo cool down a bit.
