Arrow 3.5" exhaust ideas please!

I have a BG kit with the 3.5" downpipe. I am looking on ideas (preferably pictures) of what people are doing for their exhaust setups. I would like to keep the budget somewhat low, and reasonable as I am short on cash for the car as of this moment..

I figured I could do a 3.5" mandrel system pretty cheap if it was just straight back and dumped before the axle, but I'm not sure if it'd sound good. I would want to run some type of oval mufler to keep it down. The car is way too obnoxious with open downpipe and way too obvious with the cam I'm running.

If anyone has any pictures of their setup or ideas for me, let me know I'd appreciate it! Thanks corral!

Here try this. http://www.theturboforums.com/smf/in...topic=108794.0 It is kinda long but a nice freaking build. The single exhaust is fully doable. I read a discussion on exhaust the other day. It all depends on how loud or quite you want the car. If you want the car semi quite got to go over axle which is doable.

Awesome build, even that exhaust is crazy sexy.. I am looking for something simple though to keep the cost down. What muffler is best for turbos?

I have a 3.5" downpipe and exhaust to the trans on my fake race car.

$75 in two 3.5" u-bends from summit and a $45 dynomax bullet.

Its more quiet than my 300rwhp 302 with spintechs was and is really only loud in the car.

I did mine cheap, but it is only 3"

I bought a 4' piece of tubing from summit, and a hooker maximum flow. Welded 2 stock hangers to the pipe and muffler and sealed it with two exhaust clamp thing sort of like this.
http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...5&autoview=sku

I looked and hooker does make a 3.5" max flow (2.5,3 and 4)

There is a borla xr-1 in 3.5, but it cost $150

It hangs alittle lower than other things, but it was cheap and easy. Could have spent more time to have it better.

If you look, the maximum flow and borla flow the best and are some of the quietest.

If you don't want to spend $150, you could always get a 3.5 to 4 reducer and put on the max flow.

here is a pic of mine, I know its not the best.
basically its the downpipe piece that BG supplies, then I bought the 3.5" to dual 2.5" y pipe from summit
Then I chopped up my old x pipe and took the ball and socket flanges and welded them to the y-pipe and hooked up to the old catback, I then replaced my mufflers with magnaflows
you wont find alot of info, I searched for 2 weeks and never found anything good

Just FYI a straight through muffler works best on turbos. They reduce back pressure.
