dont kill the messenger. but a local guy has had bad luck with that thinwall stainless and there is a thread on turbomustangs where Brian from BG (treadstone copied his kit) stated he didnt use stainless for that exact reason.

What are you running for intake, intake elbow and throttle body?

I am about to switch over to the same type of setup from a 94/95 cobra manifold. Can you give me a total height from block deck to top of T/B once installed on the elbow?

Build looks killer so far. I can only hope to have all my stuff fabricated and installed by July or so.

i kept my ac with my B&g kit so you will be fine as well. that line though will be right under the turbo which will def have a lot of heat on it. you may want to try to bend it out of the way or have a custom line made

A hydraulic hose place should be able to help you. My buddy had a local place custom bend one AC line on his Novi '93 Cobra set-up. Didn't cost too much either.

Your gonna have to ditch those 3.73 gears they dont help your turbo spool!

Yes do not run rampaging with this combo because the stainless and the gauge cannot take the heat especially since you wrapped them. Trust me what Bryan at B&G said makes sense from an engineering and thermodynamics/heat transfer standpoint. Puting the thermal barrier there will only heat up the tubes more (which I know is the point for more power and to keep moisture out and stop rust) but just be careful.

Oh and yes 3.73 = bad for turboes. Unless you are planning on a really low numerical (custom) geared tranny... not sure why but thought I should cover my bases. Good luck I meant no bad Joo Joo.

i've been driving the car around but have'nt gotten it tuned yet, what do you guys think about changing out my cobra intake for the victor jr spider intake before getting it tuned, its stock short block, edelbrock heads with the 2.02 valves, tfs stage 1 cam,60lb injecters,72 mm turbo, will it help or hurt it?

this is the intake.....

I know a guy that has one and he said it killed his bottom end power. Since this is just a mean while, I would prolly leave the sypder for the 331 with the 88.

We ran that kit and had no custom a/c lines made, just take your time and bend the lines to fit. When i did mine the a/c charged up and never had a problem. Put about 15k on it that way.
