is a turbo kit a pain in the A$#

ive been piecing together my t70 kit for a while now, iam now and always have been a nitrous guy for a while, but want a turbo stang bad. is it worth the hassle? ive been reading about it for a while, with downpipe, the plumbing, tuning, it all seems hard to mess with???

Guess it just depends on your goals and desires if it is worth the hassle. For a car I would drive every single day, it would not be something I'd want but if a toy then yes, but that is just me.

same as nitrous, you need to educate yourself on how it all works. once you understand what it all does, it's a lot easier to manage and assemble.

i did my homework teh first time, bought a hotside, then put together my own cold side. ordered some feed and drain lines from ponydown performance and had my own turbo setup much cheaper than a "kit" costs. i'm building my own setups now, but if you do your research, it's alot easier down the road.

and yes, it's definately worth it. the "bottle" never gets empty

my times/MPH were WAY better with 9 psi then with a 150 dry shot on the exact same motor. I picked up almost 9 MPH with boost vs bottle.

hot side is usually.. headers crossover and downpipe. B&G or ponydown both have good stuff. stay away from ebay headers!!!

its well woth the hassle !! its a bit more hassle at first but once its done it much less of a hassle then nitrous.

NEVER do business with Sam Rivera AKA Sam Wilson.

Keep the bottle run them both Dual Power adders FTW

Hotside piping you can make with a set of turned around shorty headers (not flipped unless your running twin turbos) and just build a cross over pipe to hook them together and that pipe will feed the turbo, dont forget when doing your mock up of the cross over pipe and turbo feed pipe to find a good location to mount your wastegate in the hotside piping.where you'll have clearance.HPturbos (turbochargedpower dot com)make's hotside piping kits orthey sell individually componets, i believe they have pre welded flanges on there pipe for the wastegate as well just make sure your wastegates flange is the same if you have already bought one if not then you can buy one to fit the flange.
