my car was set up for factory stock style racing , so the stock cam was retarded 4* .

N/A with a 5 speed 4.30s and 275/60 drag radial the car went 12.24 at 111

with a 62mm 10lbs of boost , 3.08 gears , a c4 trans and a 275/50 drag radial it went 10.88 at 124.5 .

might be better set ups as far as cams go , but it works great

1990 Notchback stock bottom end , TW's , F cam , Systemax and 66mm in the works.

You would be doing it to move some of the power higher in the power band, which is why NA people do it and some turbo people do as well.

That is a good timeslip. Is your car stripped of any weight? 124 mph is five more mph than my setup which is basically the same as yours. I am running 327's with the same tires. I am thinking to keep the gears and trying out a 28" tire.
