will it be necessary for ME to prime my motor?

I will be getting ready to fire up my turbo motor for the first time. The motor hasnt ran since last october or november. I was just curious if i should prime the motor since it sat this long or just unplug the coil wire and let it turn over for a bit before i fire it?
thanks,
Ty

take the dist out, grab a 1/4" (somewhere in there) socket and use a drill on the oil pump driveshaft for 10 seconds or so.
