Electric Fan pusher or puller?

I put in my new radiator in tonight a 2-core aluminum radiator made here in town (only cost $200!) tried to mount up my flex a lite puller fan and its too thick. It is running into my intercooler piping. I was thinking about ordering the same fan but as a pusher and mounting the fan between the intercooler and the radiator. Its a 2500cfm fan will this be enought to cool my street car down? How well does a pusher fan work?

Maximum Fan CFM: 2,500 cfm
Fan Quantity: Dual
Fan Diameter (in): 12.000 in.
Height (in): 15.500 in.
Width (in): 26.250 in.
Thickness (in): 2.625 in.
Number of Blades: 10 blades per fan nylon
Amp Draw: 19.50 amps

The other option is this fan

16” High-performance engine cooling in a LOW PROFILE package
2,500 cfm air flow

More Powerful Motor, Only 3-3/16” Deep!

replaces clutch fan ass’y
increases gas mileage
quicker A/C response
quicker warmup
quicker cool down
18.5 amp draw
Size: 16-1/2” x 16” x 3-3/16”

2,500 cfm is not enough i would go with a Tauras Fan or Mark VIII they do about 3,800-4,500 cfm .Baskin on here sells them with a DCC controller i have one of the MarkVIII Fans and it works great on my turbo setup with AC and all ACC

If you can modify it to fit I would also suggest the Mark VIII fan setup. A shroud that covers the full surface area is a great help in keeping setup cool and driveable in all conditions.

I don't think Im gonna have room for the mark VIII fan, I only have 3 7/8" room from the radiator to the tip of the waterpump shaft. How thick is the that fan? I tried to fit my stock 4.6 fan on there and there is not enought room

If cost is not a issue. The twin BeCool fan is the best fan out there.

Those are made by spal. You can get them way cheaper than what be-cool is charging for the exact same fan.

Just go on ebay and search under spal dual. Searching under spal 11 also brings up a bunch of them.

I use a thin Spal Busch series take-off, you might look into one of those.
