( UPDATE ) Made it to the track today , simple combo in the 10's

12-13lbs , 93 pump gas , 11.0 - 11.2 afr up top...... only pass of the day on the drag radials and with a blistering 1.68 60ft the car went 10.76 at 128 up top . 6.95 at 102 in the 1/8th. That was footbraking the car with zippy lbs of boost..... so i know what i need to do.

Already picked up an msd 2 step , and have a 6al at home...... so next week ill be leaving around 3200 on the 2 step off the trans brake.

car weighed 2815 with me in it and alot of gas ( almost full tank ) ..... comob is same as below.

So finally got the car out today , first time at track since turbo has been installed .

1991 coupe .... lightened 2795 race weight .

stock motor
stock heads , stock cam retarded 4* , stock intake , 70mm t/b , just have alt, water pump ...utilizing a ford smog pump as a vacumm pump set up .

treadstone turbokit with a turbonetics 62-1 , and turbonetics evoloution wastegate , single exhaust dumped before the rear axle .

stock rear with 3.08 gears and a 275/50/15 m/t drag radial.

trans is a built c4 with a 10inch converter and manual valve body.

20* timing locked out and fuel pressue somewhere in the 30's lol , wide band was reading good .

best pass of the day
1.57
6.92 @99
[email protected]

all on 10lbs of boost and 93 pump...... will be installing roll bar and going back on higher boost and race gas !!!!

very happy with the results

1990 Notchback stock bottom end , TW's , F cam , Systemax and 66mm in the works.

Good ####! Can you post some pics of your exhaust? I have the same kit and am looking for good ideas as far as a dumped exhaust go. I don't want to run just straight downpipe but don't want duals.

This simple combo embrasses alot of people who spend a #### load of money on a blower setup and go 11.50.

How do i know? I did it last year and thats why i sold my centri.

Great job man!

That thing is light considering iron heads, heavy stock intake, and a turbo kit on top of all that. good job. The 400hp mark sounds about dead on for that MPH and weight.

Nice numbers! I'm guessing retarding the cam gives you more rpms up top.

Interesting, I figure you must be making 420 rwhp to run that mph and time. I have a hard time believing you can make that on 10 lbs boost with a totally stock motor. Is your boost gauge accurate? Regardless, congrats.

Im close mph wise with almost the exact same combo. I trap 120-121 with 10 psi but my race weight is about 300 heavier lol. I was running out of gear with 23.9in tires also.
