Finally spoke to someone who has a little knowledge of blowthrough setups, let him know what powervalve and jets were in the carb(PV 6.5,PRI. 85,SEC.93)850 mighty demon. These are the standard jets that come in the carb.I was told to drop the jet sizes approximately 10 sizes. This is where this does'nt make sense to me;i have a 408 with AFR 205s,C4,QT turbo (76 mm)hoping to push about 12-15 psi.Does it make sense to go down in jet sizes when this type of setup loves fuel?It seems to me that maybe i should stick with the jets that i have or go up.

Wish I could help you out buddy.

If you are doing a blow through...dont you have to have a 'blow through' specific carb?

Some do,some don't.Alot of the holes that have to be filled on other carbs dont exist on the demons.(choke hole)Ive seen some use blowthrough and some not. This is supposed to be a RACE carb so ill try it and find out.The bitch should fly!
If i figure out how to post some photos i'll put them on here.LOL

85/93 jet size in blow thru carb is considered a safe tune, it'll probably be pig rich though..................go to turbomustangs.com in the carb section....there are a lot of new ways to have the carb run smaller jets via vent tube extensions and boost reference powervalves.

If the carb has nytrophil floats, there is not much left to be done. Get rid of the PV protector, block the HSABs and jetting up 5 sizes front and back
should get you close. Do you have a wideband?
