Arrow So what kind of blowthru maf does everyone run? size/brand?

So what kind of blowthru maf does everyone run? I'll be using a quicktime turbo kit with Precision 6776H turbo and has 3 inch cold side piping....and if it matters I will be using a SCT chip....Seems like a pmas or sct maf is the most popular? What size/model should I be looking for?

Also anybody know if I will need to do any welding to mount the intercooler or are there bolt holes the IC brackets can bolt to?

Thanks

Thanks...I appreciate the info! I just looked at some prices and you're correct. I guess they've dropped quite dramatically since last I looked...

BTW...if anyone is interested, it was used to start the car when I had a PMS on the car....removed everything and went to a MegaSquirt. So, basically it's brand new..

Price is dropped to $200 shipped obo...

+1, even though i dont use it anymore it was by far the most accurate and tuner friendly MAF i ever used. It is also specific to the blowthru configuration.

Everybody with PMAS saying its so great. I've called the guy about 10 times, trying to get some info on what/how to buy a certain part. Sometimes he answers, sometimes not, then on vacation, then returns call, says he'll fax, nothing shows, blah blah blah....They might be great, unless you have a questions about it...

agreed, could never get them on the phone. Had questions about placement after a bend, could never ask them. Ended just ordering it from Holcomb and telling them how far from a bend it was and what turbo and boost level i was running and I guess they calibrated it cause it works pretty damn good

I have a PMAS pro-tube calibrated for 42 lb inj.. When I upgraded to 60 lb inj., I bought a used PMAS for 60 lb inj, but the shop I go to simply retuned the one I already had with a SCT chip. Cheers.
