Stock cam with 1.7's will work great.

leave it alone if it's already in and see how it turns out on the dyno and the track as turbo cars are not as sensitive to cam selection as na or blower cars are

I think because Barry D made quite a bit of power with the TFS stage 2 . . . around 800rwhp with a AOD and his 352" motor he built. He also had it in his stock block days with that incon twin t3/t4 kit.

The 1000hp guy is Brent Davis. Blow-thru, weiand x-celerator, f-cam

So the Stage 1 TFS cam is OK for turbo? A buddy of mine has this cam in his fox and we are putting a JY TT set up on it with AFR heads and Cobra intake. He was going to go with a stock cam but if the TFS Stage 1 is OK we'll leave it.

A stock cam will take you waayyy past the "I split my block level" (your sig states stock block) with no drive ability issues at all.
I've been stock cam --> Stage 1 ---> stock cam with my set-ups. Stock cam FTW.

So your saying the stock cam is better than the stage 1 cam?
I know I can make plenty of power with the turbo but it certainly wouldnt kill me to make it with cam rather than having to add more boost.

My buddy has my old B&G setup with a MP T70 on a 347 w/ TFS heads, TFS stage 2 cam, and TFS Box R intake and has had pretty good results. Has been 10.9s @ 126 w/ a T5

How much turbocharger are you using?

Don't be afraid to use a larger than stock camshaft. It's just an engine running in a really deep hole. It still needs to get the air in and out...

The only reason I would stick to a small/stock cam is the stock block. Your limited at this point by injector and hardparts. With anything over a 61mm your going to be able to pass your ceiling of safety.

Please don't PM. Email

I use the tfs1 in my 331 and my 302 turbo set up. 331 made 500rwhp one 9psi, 302 made 495rwhp on 10psi.
