So I took the plunge! BG Turbo kit on order!

So I ordered my BG Turbo Kit today, spoke to Brian for quite a while and I am really excited. Wait time is like 2-3 weeks!

BTW Do you guys leave the exhaust open from the downpipe connect to the stock pipes like a cat pipe would be? Any suggestions on mufflers?

Cool post up pictures during the build.
I connected my setup to a replacement Hpipe with cats. Straight thru mufflers should be best. Pypes race pro, magnaflow, dynomax ultraflows are examples.

I had an open dp for a few months. Stuff started to rattle inside the car, so I went with a cheap 3" straight pipe to a single hooker maxflow dumped.

Congrats. I have a BG kit on my 89 LX vert. Made a custom Y pipe that goes from the 3.5" downpipe to dual 2.5"'s to mount to the catback's flowtubes. I run the Pypes Violator catback. Straight through mufflers.

Congratulations on taking that big step forward. I am waiting on mine to ship from Brian and I hopefully will have it installed before the end of this month.

2-3 weeks? Must be different for a fox body kit. I ordered a 94-95 stage one with an upgraded to PT76 and aluminum cold side on Jan 16. Was told 6 weeks for mine.

I plan to put in a removable catalytic converter coming off the DP using V-Bands and a replacement straight pipe. The single DP will connect to my Bassani cat-back system.

Posting pics when it gets installed is a must.

I think I am just going to do a single 3.5" exhaust and dump it with like a bullet style muffler

Dynomax Ultraflows or Magnaflows is what I like. Has a nice sound but keeps the car very quiet. Congrats again on the purchase.

Yea I like the idea of keeping the car quiet, can u get those mufflers? I think I am going to have rally nova do the work, I could potentially make a y pipe and just replace my flowmasters. What do you think?
