Please recomend Turbo size & A/R for '99 4v 420rwhp up to 600rwhp after forging.

I'm trying to figure out what size turbo I need for a single turbo kit.

I'll be dropping a 4v in my car in the next month or so. I've been blown on a 2v for a couple years and I want to move to a turbo.

I'm planning on around 410-420rwhp on a very safe and conservative tune and then move up to around 550-600rwhp once I get a forged rotating assembly in there. I'm new to turbos and 4vs. I'll probably go meth injection on top of the intercooler also.

Any help or recomendations on turbo brand, decent price, waste gate, etc would be great! Thanks ya'll!

-Jonny

70-76mm turbo with .81 to .96 a/r

bigger turbo and a/r will leave room to grow but be more laggy
smaller turbo and a/r will run out of breath at 600rwhp but come on line faster.

If it was me I'd run a T-70 with .96 a/r
come on line nice and support 575-600rwhp

There's a guy on the turboforums that says he sees max boost by 3500 RPMs, with a T-76 and a .81 a/r. That's the way I think I'll end up going...

T3/ T4 gt35r

compressor a/r is .70
exhaust a/r 1.06

61.88mm s

dbb and watercooled

478.9 hp at the wheels on 8.7 psi full boost at 3000k

dyno proven by me want video and dyno sheet just ask I will put it up for you

also that was only 16* timing and for every 1 lb of boost it gained 30 rwhp

I could have went well over 500 on 9psi and I could hit 600 hp at the wheels

only mods was a shortend im , other then that stock 98 with 80 k miles.
