Wastegate Size help

Is there anyway to tell what size wastegate I have? There's no writing or anything on there. I need to know what size WG I have so I can get a softer spring. I can post some pics if you guys think you could tell.
Thanks

You have to know what brand/model WG you have. Each one uses a different spring. To see what size it is just measure the opening.

Measuring it would be a good start...
If you are changing the spring though, you should remove the gate and disassemble it, measure the piston inside, it should have a "channel" or something inside that the spring will sit in so its not sliding around inside.

Its looks hooked up correctly too. Are you driving the car without that installed?
What spring is in there now? And what is your goal?

No, I took off the header to have some welding done and I snapped a pic of it. The guy I got it from said it was a 15lb spring. My goals are just to have a quick street car with around 500hp.
