What gasket?

Finished B&G installation and could not wait to go down the road. Found out that one quarter throttle is too much for untuned turbo.

MLS or cometic gasket is what I would recommend.

Going back with fel pro 9333. The gasket that was eaten was a 1011-1 and it worked good for a while.

good choice.. I run either a 8548pt2 or the 9333pt1. Only difference is one has a alum fire ring and the other is tin.. cant reber for sure which is which but I THINK the 8548 has the tin fire ring.

I have had GREAT luck with both.

NEVER do business with Sam Rivera AKA Sam Wilson.

I had the same problem. HAHAHA

to fix it I went with mr.gasket MLS gaskets with copper spray on both sides. Just make sure you get the right one for your setup. Their phone support line was great, would recomend again.Haven't had a problem since.

I was reassembling last night and realized that I had the vacuum line on top of the wastegate, instead of the bottom. Yes I get the fail.

I run the Mr. Gasket MLS - which is made for them by Cometic - no spray, adhesive, etc... just installed them and torqued the heads.

Got back from track and ran 7.03 @ 99.37. Millhouse was right about two-step. It pulls a wheel nicely. Now on to 3.27 gears.

Untuned you still need to be careful, with 10deg initial your at 26deg total which is a bit much

Been out of the game since 2011.. looking to get back in in 2019
