use draw thru as a blow thru?

i did a search, but the questions mostly pertained to "which should i use?" or "whats better?".
what i'm asking is given that i have a EEC tuner, can you use a draw thru meter in a blow thru configuration and just need to tweak the transfer function?
reason i'm asking is i have a set of 42's, but all the meters i've been seeing for sale here lately have been for draw thru applications and with spring coming i'm getting antsy to finish her up soon. i assume a draw thru would peg sooner?
thanks for your help

Your sig says twins... how would you use a draw thru? A blow thru with around 8-10 inchs of straight pipe ahead of it is going to be the ticket. It also opens you up to using a BOV that goes to atmosphere.... Keeping mind that the BOV has to be ahead of the meter.

i know i'll be using a meter in a blow thru configuration and i know the deal with the BOV, my question is if i find a deal on a meter that says it's for draw thru, is there a reason i cant use it in a blow thru setup? for example, is the transfer function setup differently for a draw thru meter then a blow thru that would make it impossible to use in that setup, regardless of the flanging or mounting of the meter? i hope that makes more sense
