Launching a turbo stick car ?'s

Well it looks like I am getting a JY TT kit put on my car..I am not running a 2 step yet. With a 5 sp... is there any way I'll be able to build boost on the line? I know I could "load" the chassis by holding the clutch just out of the spot it engages.. but with boost I don't know how that's gonna work.

Ideas. I'm new to a turbo 5 sp car that made big power. I have had turbo 4 cars that were 5 sp but they were just drivers, never tried to build boost and launch it. I don't plan on doing any serious racing anyways.. but when I do go play at the track I want to make some respectable passes.

Hints, tips, do's and dont's.. all is welcome.

The kit consists of two Grand National Super 60 turbos, intercooled, BOV. I have to upgrade fuel and ign stuff I know. I know what I need to do as far as the kit is concerned.. I just never driven a decent power turbo car at the track. Going to be a learning curve I have to overcome.

They say what goes up must come down but I ain't reached my cruising altitude.
Take a look at what I did but can you imagine what I'm about to do.

Who makes good 2 steps? It has to be compatible with an 04 gt though..

Nothing, it has been sitting in my driveway and some in the garage and some in the closet and some in the barn and some......... You get the idea..

IF you dont have a ign yet I suggest getting a MSD digital 6 plus. Its a ign box, 2 step and has a timing retard all in 1 unit. I love mine it works great for building boost on the line.

NEVER do business with Sam Rivera AKA Sam Wilson.

I odnt have the ign parts yet. I was looking at a 6al and then piggy backing the two step on it. I am planning on tuning with a tweecer so I will be able to pull timing that way.

Just get a used digital 6 + or they MSD is coming out with the new 6al2 no rpm pills to deal with... plus its another 75 for the 2 step... and if you retard the timing (Built into the dig 6+) you should build more boost quicker...
