few pics of my turbo build

ive been working on a turbo setup in my 90 coupe for a little bit now and it finally all together just need to get a few little things done..ill post up some pics shortly but i have a few questions first.. this is my combination-

306 shortblock, stock block with forged internals. stock cam with aluminum x303 heads 42# injectors, 90mm lightning MAF, canton 7qt pan with melling high volume oil pump, compression is 9.0:1, arp head studs, arp main studs with dss main support system with windage tray, p.p typhoon efi upper and lower ( ported to a felpro 1262 intake gasket), 75mm bbk throttle body, 75mm egr spacer, 1" intake spacer, 1.6 and 1.72 aluminum roller rockers, sn95 fuel rail, 3g alt, mini starter, weiand water pump, .75" drop solid motor mounts, msd pro billet dizzy with a blaster coil and a 6al box, afco aluminum rad with mark 8 eletric fan. im running a lentech built AOD street/strip trans. as soon as i can find one im gonna be switching to a lentech full manual valve body.
my turbo kit is a cartech street sleeper kit with a turbonetics turbo..im fairly sure its a T04e turbo but i cant figure it out for sure, the writing on the housings cant really be read. so im hoping by the pics that maybe someone can help me out with that. the kit is intercooled with a horizontal mount vortech style intercooler. i will be switching it to a front mount setup when i upgrade the turbo, but im just gonna go with it for now. im running a 38mm wastegate that will be dumped, and the stock cartech bov.

1- what plugs are you guys running? at this time im not looking to run anymore the 10#.
2- what plug wires are you guys running?
3- after you guys look at my pics can you tell me how i can go about upgrading my blow off valve, or am i gonna have to wait until i change the cold side.

hope someone can help me out with some info! here are the pics!!

I run a an autolite 3923 but I cant speak for what you should run because i'm not familiar with your heads.. it may be the same. Most people like MSD wires it seems. I'd just wait and add the new BOV once you get the cold side done. A 38 Tial is pretty good choice. Im curious what you plan on doing with the pass side exhuast? Good luck with the build!

passenger side exhaust is a ford racing shorty 1 5/8" header that wraps underneath the trans bell and comes up the drivers side and merges into the log header. its the same as what Cartech uses in their street sleeper kits. eventually im gonna re do the whole kit but i wanna get this up and running. possibly next winter ill tear it all apart and redo everything. i have a bennett 349 that im just itching to throw into something!!
also one more question. when i do the cold side..can i put the bov pretty much whereever since its a draw thru maf? or should i change it to a blow thru style?
thanks!
ken

I like that. It could consievably be done the reverse way having a standard header on the driver's side and a header, junction and turbo etc. on the passanger side. That would allow me to keep all my P/S and A/C on my '95. Plus it would cut down on the heat around the clutch cable. Do you have any other pics of the down pipe leaving the header and snaking out the back of the engine bay?

Keep up with the pics.

Thanks

Looks just like my car under the hood. I have a Cartech Street Sleeper kit on it. Have fun changing those driver's side plugs.

'78 Fairmont Boxtop.... Once over lightly. Under re-construction

got most of the dash put back together today, thank god ford made the plugs idiot proof..lol im not gonna have any hvac in the car, so im just gonna mount gauges were the hvac controls and the radio go. basically the only thing i have to do inside to have it all back together is finish installing the console and swap out my 5 speed harness for an aod harness, gonna get that done tomorrow. my brake booster and master cylinder are on the way. after i recieve the booster i can mount the pedals and the steering column. as far as shifters go i currently have a b&m hammer shifter, but i think thats gonna get sold and im gonna get a b&m magnum grip prostick..ive read some pretty good things about them. any other ones out there i should consider?
here are some more pics!
