Stolen Xcal

So i'm I am in the market for a Lightning and found one I like BUT the guy says his handheld Xcal3 was stolen. The dyno tune is still on the truck but there isn't the married tuner to remove the tune and reinstall the stock tune.

Can I mate up another unmarried Xcal2 to add more dyno tunes in the future?

Yes you can, what a new X3 would do would be transfer the tune in the truck now as the stock tune and save it. Then you could addwhatever you like. Any dealer can sell you the 'stock' tune to keep in one of the tune positions if you want. The other alternative is to have a Ford dealer reflash the PCM to stock and then get it tuned. Either way would work.
