Xcal2 2-step acting up?

Had an issue at the track this weekend that almost cost me a race. Off the line bouncing off the 2-step (SCT Xcal2), it all of a sudden went flat, just like you just shoved a crowbar in the crank?! So i lifted and launched off idle and made the run. Back at the pits, i tested it again and it worked, but I notice it was at 4900, but the xcal2 was programmed at 5900rpms? Reflashed the car and again the car bounced off 4900 again, not 5900?! The computer is not doing what the xcal is telling to do. Not sure how this can happen?
