Question SCT, Diablo, Hypertech...Tuners

I am looking for a programmer for my 99 Cobra. I currently have an off rd x-pipe, Borla Catback, K&N CAI, and underdrive pulleys. I am looking at putting 4.10's in the rear and do not want my speedometer to be off. Will a programmer take my check engine light off from the off road exhaust, and will it be able to fix my speedo and odometer if I install the 4.10's?

I was also wondering if a used programmer would work for this. I know of some different programmers for sale. A used Diablo that was on a 03 Mach 1 and a new SCT XCal. Will these work for my car and also is there anything else I need to use it? I do not know much about these and am looking for some information on what I need to buy to make these programmers work. ANY help would be appreciated.

THANKS

Dunno about used ones - mainly because I get emails every day from people that have bought used ones and find they are still VIN locked and need to be mailed in to the mfg for an expensive unlock.

Actually SCT is now has the X3 Powerflash - much nicer and faster than the XCal 2 - bigger screen and more memory for logging on the unit. If you get custom tunes on it, like I put on the ones I sell, you can do almost anything you want with it. It does allow user adjustability too for a lot of different things.

Email me at [email protected] if you need more details.

If you buy a used one, make sure it has the current software installed on it,my Diablo did'nt,I called Diablo and they emailed a tune(Free) to my email address. If you do this, buy a data transfer cable from Walmart for about 15-20 bucks. The two ends have to match the tuner and your computer.Oh I sold a Diablo about a month ago(#7146) it was Vin unlocked. The customer was happy. If you buy one use Paypal if possible, protects you more than cash or check........................................Kevin
