?'s about nitrous/pulleys on a tuned motor

Combo
331 dart block, 8.5:1 diamond pistons, vortech S trim, 10lbs boost.

Ok...car runs 10.40s...want 9 second slips.

Car has an EXCELLENT dyno tune, my tuner does not do fox bodies any more.

If i want to pulley down or spray a 35/50 wet kit to run 9s....can i just back global timing out of the distributor 2*...and add back in reading plugs?

Or add 1lb of fuel pressure if the AFR leans at all?

What about race gas and adding 2-4* of timing??

Meth injection should get you there. Ask your tuner where he ended with fueling and timing. You can always buy a Moates QH or SCT emulator and look for yourself. Then you can make the necessary changes. The tune could be on the edge or conservative side. A few changes might get you there as well.

Pulling global timing will most likely kill low and mid range power. Your lambes will correct for the 1 psi of fuel pressure. Sure you can raise the fuel pressure where the eec can't correct for this. However all the fueling will be off.

Why would a tuner not want to do Fox Body Mustang tunes? He must not be very good...Lol Tuning is tuning, not matter the make or model.

I wasnt aware of a sct emulator....I'll look into that! Thanks!

Tuner is literally THE BEST, just is making sweet easy big money from the hellcat crowd. And doesn't want to mess with 30 year old cars and electronics anymore.
