will going to 3.73's in an auto kill my gas miliage?

just wondering since the thing is such a dog.. seems like it may actually help it but not sure....

3.73's won't hurt your gas mileage too much. Your highway mileage may drop, but not too much. You may actually see a gain in city mileage

not really and in auto's it is perfered to go 4.10's. manual usually do 3.73's.

4.10's really bring the auto to life and are daily driven by many.

I lost only 2-3mpg when i added mine so its not so bad.

with 4.10s, on average you loose 2 mpg at 70 mph, city stays the same

Who cares about gas mileage with a mustang?

Typical 97 vert with 8-point roll bar.

I'm running 3.73's with an auto, and driving it the same didn't affect mileage more than 1 or 2 mpg. But it's much easier to get worse mileage by having a lead foot now!
