94-98 V6 gas mileage?

What kind of gas mileage do you see out of these cars?

If a man says something in the woods and there are no women around to hear him, is he still wrong?

MPG ...

19-22 mpg around town (depending upon how much I use 1st gear vs. starting in 2nd gear) & almost always 25 mpg on the highway. Did get about 28 mpg once using "Mexican OD" coming down out of the Wasatch mountains.

'98 GT equipped w/Koni, Eibach, Cobra R rims w/Yokohama tires, Cobra brakes all around & 3.73 gears. Also a Boss330 4.6 Cobra block w/PI heads & stuff from Accufab, ARP, Centerforce, Comp Cams, Fidanza, K&N, Mahle, Manley & Borla exhaust w/Mac Pro Chamber thrown in for grins & giggles.

Wow, I thought V6 got more than that!

I average 22-23mpg in my PI GT with 3:73 gear and bolt ons.

V6 Mileage ...

NXNitrousMustang: "Wow, I thought V6 got more than that!"

You are probably right. Didn't mean to insert my GT mileage specs in here. Also prepping a V6 track car so that's why I was wandering thru. Sorry for the confusion, gentlemen.

Mileage ...

cobraman1024 ... "crap-ton"

I'm sorry, but I have never heard that expression before. Is that an Industry Term (similar to WAG)? And is it more or less than a long ton? After all, I would hate to embarrass myself at the next SAE meeting w/an incorrect application.
