3.8 supercharged in a foxbody ?

I have a 89 lx hatch that has a blown out tranny, and about 200,000 on the engine so its time for a change.

i also have 8 3.8 super charged engine,5spd, tranny, wiring and ecu. That i thought would be good to shove in the fox body if its possable.

has anyone ever done this or even know if its remotely possably. If someone has id like to know what needs to be done to make it happen.

thanks Mike

the 5 speed, if it is out of an sc wont do you good, you'll need a t5 to go with that 3.8. it most certainly can be done. you'll need the eec, and the entire harness from the supercoupe.

well the 5spd is from a 90 cougar, but i assume its the same. So basicly a t-5 from a 5.0 stang should do the trick. My main thing is doing the wiring as far as ignition, fuel pump ect...

what i can get rid of on the sc engine as far as emissions crap blah blah.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also i must ask hows come the 5spd wont work from the SC?
