Durable timing gear set for 3.8

I installed a new timing gear and chain set about 25,000 miles ago and many teeth are stripped off the cam gear. The car has been babied. The sprockets have metal teeth. What do I do so this won't happen again?

something isnt right. my cars been beaten up with a supercharger on my 99 with over 116k and its fine.. id have everything checked out you shouldnt be stripping teeth with those miles

ya you shouldnt have that happening sounds like somone put it on to tight and maybe messed it up that way

i changed mine just befor i blew the engine the engine had 245,000KM and they looks mint hardly any wear or show of wear only changed it cuse i had a morana double roller timing chaain and gears and i was changing the water pump si i had the front apart so figured id to it while it was down
