SCT vs Diablosport

Which of the two flash tunners is the best for a v6? Or, is there another company that makes a flash tunner that is superior to these two? Thanks for your help!

My opinion - Go with the SCT X-cal V2 tuner for most V6 applications (stock and modified). I'd suggest contacting Justin at VMPTuning.com. He's an expert in V6 tuning.

I don't have a V6 but I would suggest getting with the shop that is going to do your work and buy the tuner they use. Different tuners will argue all day as to which programmer is better but it will eventually come down to the person building the tune and what he is comfortble using. One other note is that if you are at any of the bigger events in the southest the Pro-Dyno guy is brings his mobile Dyno and he uses the SCT software

"And the dynos rumbled, and God spoke 'Take thine turbos, install them upon thine car, and destroy the many ricers!'

Ok Im probably going to buy SCT. I emailed VMP Tuning about my 98 v6 and they said that the X-cal 2 wont be able to recalibrate my speedometer when I install 3.73 gears in the diff. They said I would have to get a speedo gear to fix that. Does any one know where I can buy one of those speedo gears? Thanks for the help guys, I really appreciate it!

I have a SCT for my 98 3.8 which I purchased from Justin. When I changed to the 3.73 gears I purchased a Speed Calibrator from http://www.mustangtuning.com/ look under rear end gears.
