A friend just picked up a 94-95 sixer from a relative and it has some "issues".
The original six blew up and a replacement 50K mile motor was dropped in. He drove it for about 4 months after the swap and one night it blew the "seals" off the oil filter. Mind this is second hand info, but he wants me to try and correct the problem. The heads were off and magged, checked to warping, and was reassembled, ran fine for a bit and blew the seals again. So now it's parked.
I haven't heard any oiling issues with the 3.8, I do recall head sealing problems with earlier cars... I haven't had a chance to look at the car myself to confirm the problem, it may be something else. Anyone familiar with this problem?
