Question 06 Running pony emblem.

I have seen a few 06 V6's with the bigger than 94-04 V6 running pony emblem. Are these the same as the 84 1/2 emblems? Peel and stick or holes through the fender?

I doubt anybody would know this early, but you can get some dental floss and take an emblem off, then you get to see it for yourself and then get some emblem adhesive tape and throw it back on. I take it your trying to debadge the car?

No not trying to de badge one. The 84 1/2 bages are very expensive if you can find a set. Just trying to find out if these emblems are the same. Stick on? Pin on like the early model Stangs?

I'm going from memory, but when I took my badges off to strip them of paint and make them "chrome" there wasn't a pin or anything on the back of my ponies, but there was a hole in the fender. Why? I have no idea. My ponies were stick on of course from the factory.

Now the 05's if they do have a pin you could just cut it off and put emblem adhesive on it and then put it on your car.

If the "hole" is anything like it is on the 99-04's, it's just there to help you line the badge up.

They have 2 pins. I just added them to my wife's non-Pony and had to dremel the pins off since her fenders weren't drilled for a badge.
