Help me with coil springs please!

I just bought some new 255/45/17 tires for my girlfriends car. Its a 94 V6 and we have some 95 Cobra Rs for it. Before I put them on I wanted to do something about the ride height... I want to keep it cheap for now, I was thinking about putting some 4 cylinder springs up front and cutting a coil or so out of the back.... I dont want it really low but the stock height just looks too tall to me. Any advice from you guys on how this would look or whatelse I might do?

Thanks!

What,,?? too many lawyers lurking on the forums? If Your car is like mine, the front springs are already broken down by the A-arm, and the car still sat high. If they're not, You could take at LEAST a full coil off and still be plenty high. The rear gets a little more complicated. The bottom has the pigtail, so that can't be touched, the top is groung flat, to fit the mount. If the top is cut, I would at least try to grind some "flat" on the spring, to fit the mount better. Not sure how much to remove, but the trial and error is easier than on the front, so maybe be more conservative.

Are they the same ?

Are V8 fox and V6 96' springs the same ? For instance can I go buy some Motorsport "C" springs and lower my 96' ?
