Anyone have any solution???

I was hoping someone might know the answers to these questions:

I switch out a 2.3 from an 89 ranger truck in favor of a 3.8 from a 98, thats an 89 truck and a 98 motor...I switch wiring harnesses and all, when I dropped the motor in it wouldnt nestle down in the bay..the headers hit the frame, the motor mounts for the 3.8 didnt line up..
1- What motor mounts do I need?
2-What exhaust manifolds do I need?
3-Is the steering box for the 89 ranger OK to use with the 3.8 motor?
4-Any special wiring protocols for this swap?

Thanks guys for any help!!!!! If you have a site that has this swap in detail can you email it to [email protected]? Thanks!!!

You do realize that this IS a full custom swap.
No one provides any kits or swap components for this swap.

I think you are entirely on your own.
You may as well be dropping a Buick V6 in there as far as getting things to fit.

I have a 5.0 in my Ranger. I spent too much money doing it and probably shouldn't have bothered (but I did it RIGHT, nothing is cobbled, it looks factory installed and passes smog)
