Recently stolen.. I mean purchased 96 Essex

So I recently ran across a pristine 96 base Mustang(even has crank up windows) that was my kind of price. Its the 3.8 and automagic trans = snail slow.

So decisions decisions... Do I do a LS swap on it? Maybe a 4.6? Keep the 3.8 and rebuild the upper half (lifters ticking like crazy)?

Im in no rush with the car just undecided where I want to go with it!

2019 5.0 DOHC crate engine. Or any 5.0 DOHC engine. Or turbo 351W. I'd choose path of least resistance. Blow thru turbo 351W with a 4r70w.

Whoops. I just saw your most recent previous post. LS works too.
