1996 Mustang V6 Cam senor cause a no-start ?

''96 3.8 with about 150k on it.

Car has spark and tach moves when cranked. Car has fuel (flooded plugs) and presure at the rail.

Would a bad cam position sensor cause a no-condition ?

Thanks guys !

It would not be my first choice. The usual symptom is hard starting but it usually starts after a few tries. Try short burst, then key totally off and repeat.
Air out those plugs first.
The crank sensor is more liable to be a total no start item.
