2005 V6 needs brake upgrade

Are the GT brakes any better or the same? Bolt on if an improvment?

After a recent 8.8 with 4.10 gears I need to get bnetter braking up front, I'm thinking SS lines and better pads at least but if a GT assembly, rotor and calipers are stronger I'll look at that option too. Thanks.

Easiest, cheapest upgrade would be to go with the GT rotors and caliper brackets, your original calipers can be reused. Either look for takeoffs from somebody with a GT who has upgraded, or you can get the M-2300-D kit from FRPP:

Ford Racing Performance Parts

Combine that with some good pads all around, you should be fine.

cheers

Thanks Ed, sorry, haven't been around!

I ordered the kit!

Now, who has a link for a good set of front SS braided lines???
