OEM differential in a stock 95??

i have a 95 bone stock v6 3.8 mustang, is the rear differential limited slip, or all the way one wheel peel??

jack up the rear and turn the tires.

if one tire goes forward and the other goes opposite you have a one wheel peel.

if they go the same direction you have a Limited slip.

if i am not mistake your car has a 7.5 inch rearend instead of a 8.8, and i dont think 7.5's came with limited slips from the factory. i could be wrong, but what i said above is the easiest way of checking without doing a burn out haha.

the axles and diff are already removed, its a 7.5..

well. if you have the differential already out then why do you have to ask if it is a Limited Slip or not?

im betting already its open.


if it has a spring inbetween the two spider gears that looks like an S its a limited slip, if it has any sort of clutch packs or spring packs in the middle between the spiders its a limited slip.
