my neighbor has a 99-04 v6 mustang and wanted to go to true dual exhaust. is there any way an h pipe from a v8 99-04 will bolt up to the v6 headers and work? any help would be appreciated. thanks guys.

No they will not, but MAC makes an off-road h-pipe for the v6, as well as a catback.

don't go with a off road pipe on a V6. It will be too loud and raspy. Take it to an exhaust shop , tell them to cut the y pipe off , make an h pipe after the convertors , run them to some flowmasters or whatever muffs you prefer and back out to tips. That's the easiest way to do it. Also it will sound alot better with the cats still on it.
