Talking STS single-turbo system (0 miles)

I am selling a like-new STS single turbo system for the '05-07 Mustang GT. It was only used for dyno testing, on a stock '06 Mustang GT. The kit produced full boost at 3200 rpm, and resulted in 400 rwhp at 6psi boost. HP/TQ curves looked awesome.

The car was never driven with the system on it, just dyno time. I have $6500 invested in the kit, it is the STS single turbo "tuner" kit, but with the optional front mount intercooler, dual gauge pod with boost gauge and clock, boost controller, etc...

Info on the kit here: http://www.ststurbo.com/2005__mustang_single

I'm asking $4500. Installation in the Houston, TX area can also be arranged by G-Force Motorsports, who did the installation. They can take credit card also.

Why am I selling it? Lets just say we got greedy with boost and pushed over 500 rwhp on the stock engine (9psi) and the engine disagreed with us.

If you are interested, send me an email: ynot_dv8 @ hotmail.com

What was the failure? Detonation or did the rods come apart?

rod(s) failed. No detonation or lean condition. Stock rods and pistons are junk. I wouldn't go past 450 rwhp on a stock internal '05+ GT
