Lightbulb autocrossing in the VA area

Hello to all, I'm Henry and would like to know if anyone knows of any autox events in the Norfolk, Va area. My interest is actually drag racing but auto x'ing by your posts sounds like it could be a lot of fun. Anyone got any info for me regarding events, clubs, schedules or know what links I can get to find this out?

Thanks.

Henry Askew, Jr.

Henry,

Check out http://www.autocross.com/autoc/seclub.shtml - go down to the bottom and you'll see a list of clubs for Virginia. My brother was recently in that area for 10 weeks (Air Force sent him to a school there) and I think he found events to run with the Tidewater Sports Car Club and the Old Dominion SCCA (in his Ford Focus rental ).

Good luck, and have fun!
