Open Track/AV8SS race at Nashville Superspeedway 9/3-9/4

Nashville Superspeedway Sept. 3/4 with AV8SS Racers
To all Racers,Open Track Participants and fans of road racing, please come join us for the second to last American V-8 Supercar Series (AV8SS) weekend on Sept. 3/4 at the beautiful Nashville Superspeedway complex. Be there for a great weekend of spectating and competing with the added benefit of the great Nashville area and all it has to offer for the rest of the family. As Monday is a holiday, you do not even have to hurry home after Saturday and Sundays festivities at the track. We will be running a modified "roval" utilizing the high banks of turns 3 and 4.

Racers- We will have dedicated slots all weekend for practice and qualifying but the track will be open to you all day, both days. We will again have a "double header" race format on Sunday. Again, you will have access to the track all day both days! We are offering this for $200.00 per day or $350.00 for the entire weekend! This will include a family picnic at the track Saturday evening. Eligible drivers are those that possess a current racing license from any recognized and sanctioned road race organization. Purse money and prizes will be in excess of $4000.00. For those participants who would like to race but do not have a racing license, a competition school will be held on Saturday with graduates receiving a provisional license for Sunday. Please contact Dan Schlickenmyer directly at [email protected] or call 757-561-1110 to enroll in the competition school.

Open Track Participants- You will also have unlimited use of the track except for the race car only sessions which will only account for about 2 hours a day! We are offering this for $125.00 per day or $225.00 for the entire weekend. You too are invited to the picnic. Two full days of open track and free food too. Such a deal. Convertible requirements will include a roll bar and safety harness with helmets.

Car instruction- We will have a limited number of slots for those wishing to ride with an instructor. The price will be $250.00 for the weekend.

Test and tune- Even if you do not have an AV8SS legal car but do have a race car, come out and dial your car in for future events. How else could you get so much track time for so little money? the cost will be the same as for the racing group.

Our first event at the facility was a great success. The track staff and safety crews are second to none as it is the same crew that host the IRL and Busch events. Our first event was absolutely incident free. If you haven't been to this venue I think you will be surprised how good a "roval" can be.

Admission for all is free!!!!!!!!! Camping is available as are garages.

Registration can be done online at .
