Here's what I used. Just set it on the bottom on the front of the torque arm and get the angle they call for. Have the cross brace welded in place with the torque arm at that angle.
Slight hijack here..
I just installed my new Tremec on my MM TA-equipped coupe and I got an angle of 6.5* on the machined face my transmission output and an angle of 1* on the rearend yoke. That's a pretty big difference, no?
How can I overcome this?

So, measure on the back of the trans and on the front of the torgue arm and these shouldn't be more that three degrees different.
