Talking Moving car from street to full race, help me gut it.

I need a little help on removing weight from my stang. I wanna remove the condeser and all the a/c. What else can I take out? Please any hints would be great.

- Driver and passenger airbags and related hardware

- Rear seats and seatbelts

- Front seatbelts assuming you're using a harness

- Every piece of interior trim

ON EDIT - Scrape out the sound deadening from the floor pan

what about the ac and abs pumps? Whats the proper way to remove these systems.

I just removed airbags (including control module and accelerometers), stereo, passenger side vent duct, cruise control, rear seat, rear seatbelts, the mass dampers from the fenders, PCV, EGR, A/C, rear wing, dogbone

Grind off any unused brackets, studs, etc after you take all that stuff out (quad shock and RUCA brackets if you have a 5 link or PHB/TA), remove all associated wiring from the harness after all the above deletes (can be tricky) lightweight battery aluminum radiator . . .

Remove rear and quarter windows and replace with Lexan...

Summit has lexan for older mustangs, any clue where to source late model (SN-95) pre-cut lexan windows?

I would concentrate on removing weight in the front of the car. Fox bodies I believe have a weight distribution of 57-43. Not sure for your car but most likely it's nose heavy.
