Heal and toe pedal options, fox body

I have a 79 that is being built and the quick time I spent driving the car reminded me of how poor the pedal setup is to driving. What are you guys using or upgrading to?

I used the brake pedal out of an automatic car. I had to trim the side of the pedal next to the clutch pedal.

It works but not as well as I would like. When I apply the brake the pedal is too low in comparison to the accelerator... I have been meaning to fabricate a spacer of some sort to raise the brake pedal but just have not gotten around to it...
