Can someone please start a thread like this?

I wonder.... Been looking & searching around to see if anyone has been discussing this, but without much luck.

- If you were building a 5.0/ 302 SBF for roadracing and budget was no issue, how would you build it? Induction system, cam, rpm band, rotating parts, valvetrain, stroke, etc. etc.

I'm mostly interested in builds with off the shelf parts only, but exotic builds are, even if unreachable, interesting as well.

Xcuse me if my search on this subject have been lousy and post links to threads if you know of such......

I'll be happy to discuss & post my combo.

As for the OPs question, your question is way too vague. You want to build a road racer meant to compete in a class? You want to build a track day weapon with no limits? Does it need to be drivable on the street? Is there a displacement limit? Does it need to pass emissions? Is durability an issue? Is maintainance an issue? What power are you looking to achieve?
