how much can u "mini tub" a foxbody and retain rear shock mounts?

is it possible and if so how?
how can u add wheel space and still retain the rear shock mounts?
has any one done it? pics? write up? any help would be great.

I guess it would depend on springs and shocks. I am about to do this on mine. I have Koni's with coil overs. I am going to try and lower the top mount to the middle or bottom of the frame rail. This should put that inside the wheel. I can lower the bottom mount some also. Then i will put a limiting strap on the axle so at full droop the rim cant come in contact with the mount.

First I would like to ask why you do not want to relocate the upper mount? Rules? I have done it but I moved the mounts (upper and lower) but I kept them as close to the wheel as possible.

For me, my Panhard bar mount is in the way. I will post pict tonight.

the car is a fox body with irs i dont know how to relocate the shocks

I am pretty ignorant on IRS so...
I believe a tub would be A waste if not relocating the springs or shocks. After treatment with a BFH I find the stock location coilover to be first to hit then the stock coil spring upper mount.
