295 A6s test fit with issues

Okay, I picked up a set of used A6s and put them on my Cobra R's. I also just installed MM Fwd. Offset front control arms.

My issue:

I am rubbing the front fender liner when turning the wheel. Picture

How I think it can be fixed:

I think I can 'pull' the fender liner forward and attach it somehow...any ideas?

I haven't test fit my 255/40 17s yet, but am guessing it may hit too..

Unrelated, going to need a spacer:

I'm also going to be ordering 1/4" spacers to move the tire away from my coilover springs. They have approx. 2cm clearance right now and I know the deflection of the tire will make them touch my springs (-2.2 camber ... going to bump camber to -3) Thanks to J Rick Kirby for lending me his 1/8" and 1/4" spacers to test...

Well, so much for my idea to roll the fender. Wouldn't help in this case.

I believe targeting the area of contact with "pushing" and "bracing", is your best bet. Basically the same method I used on my '66 just to clear 225/60's on 14x7's.

While the threads are Fox related, the concept should carry over to any application.

And this is from the second thread below the nice picture posted by MFE.

There's a lot of great info about spreading fenders on foxbodies in this thread http://www.corner-carvers.com/forums...ad.php?t=27194 and starting at post 118 in this thread, but you have to be a member to see the pics.
